MENU COVERS, SERVICE DIRECTORIES, DOOR HANGERS, TABLE TENTS & WINE LISTS (see descriptions below)

Materials: Top Grain (Hide) Leather, bonded leather, suede, imitation leather, specialty materials, b-cloth (bookbinding cloth), deluxe cloth, linens, canvass, coated specialty papers, and laminated 4- color printed papers.

Structural Materials: Padded board, unpadded board, flexible craft materials. Many different board thicknesses are available: 120 point, 100 point, 90 point or 80 point.

Inside Materials: In addition to the above Materials, Moire, Taffeta (Windsor) cloth, and many different specially made lining materials (i.e. felt-like papers, velveteen) are available.

Document Corner Holders: The corner pieces that hold the document in place can be: any material above or ribbons or vinyl.

Features/options: Pen holders, pockets (slant, gusseted, horizontal and vertical), paper tablet insertion, business card holder.

Stamping: Foil stamped (gold, silver, and copper are the most popular), debossed (stamping without foil), embossed, screen printed, and laminated printed papers.

Product Types:

• Portfolios: Portfolios can be utilized for many functions in the Restaurant and Hotel business. Portfolios can be made with or without pockets, corner holders for documents, built in center holders for larger documents. Possible features/options include :
• Bi-fold: two separate areas hinged either on the right or on the top (top fold would be rare in this product).
• Tri-fold: three separate areas hinged between the areas. This product can be made to stand upright on it’s on own on a flat surface.
• Quad-fold: four separate areas hinged between the pieces.

Ring Binders: The typical Ring binder can be used for multiple purposes in the hotel and restaurant business: Room directories and a smaller version for phone directories, extensive wine lists, guest check in and sign in books. This product can be made with all of the above features/options. The Ring Binder comes as 3-Ring, 4-Ring or 6-Rings in ring sizes from ½” to 4” in Round rings, D-rings or slant D-rings. Screw-post Binders: A Screw-post binder is a version of a 3-Ring that allows a more semi-permanent fixture for the internal documents. There can be 2, 3, or 4 posts that are fixed into the spine area that will hold the documents in place. The posted are screwed into each other and can be expanded to hold more documents than the original binder. There can be an open spine (the most expandability), soft spine (some expansion possible), or in a fixed spine (allows minimal expansion). See Palms above. Available in all materials.

Menu Covers: There are many forms and sizes of menu covers. Since John Galt Bindery is a custom manufacturer, we can take any specification and turn it into your desired product. Menu covers can use any of the materials from any of the mills. Colors are almost limitless. Portfolios can be modified to make multi-page menu covers. Book covers can be modified to allow the insertion of a pre-made booklet to make a re-usable menu cover setup where the insides can be changed with minimal time or effort. Available in Top Grain Hide Leather also for lasting covers and impression.

Table Tents: Wine lists, specials, desserts, or any other display that may need special treatment are examples that might require a unique mode of presentation. Table tents are display units that allow a direct line of sight by the customer. They stand on their own and very stable and sturdy. Table tents can use any of the materials shown below and can be made to match the menu covers and wine covers. They are made of graphic board covered with a turned edge material. The display area can be covered by a clear piece of acetate or left uncovered.
